Revorn Co. Demonstration: Transrating Images into Odors

Revorn Co., Japan, will present a live demonstration innovative system enabling the transformation of uploaded images into unique scent combinations. By analyzing an image, the system calculates the optimal blend and ratio of aromas, dispensing the fragrance through a multi-port diffuser with up to eight aroma cartridges.

How Does it Work?

The process is surprisingly simple yet incredibly innovative:

1. Image Upload: You begin by uploading your desired image to a cloud-based system. This could be a photo, painting, or even a digital illustration.
2. Aroma Analysis: The system’s sophisticated aroma engine analyzes the image, identifying key visual elements such as colors, shapes, and textures. It then cross-references this information with a vast database of scents to select the most appropriate aromas.
3. Scent Creation: The engine calculates the optimal blend of up to eight different scents to recreate the olfactory experience associated with the image.
4. Aroma Diffusion: A multi-port diffuser then precisely dispenses the calculated scent blend, filling the air with the desired aroma.
