Aryballe to Demonstrate Advanced NeOse™ Handheld Digital Nose at DOS 2024
Introducing NeOse™: A Portable “Digital Nose” for Precise Odor Detection
Dr. Cyril Herrier, R&D Director at Aryballe, will present an innovative demonstration of their advanced NeOse™ handheld device at the DOS 2024 Congress this December in Tokyo. Equipped with a 64-gas sensor array embedded in a bio-functionalized silicon photonic chip, NeOse™ emulates human olfaction, detecting and analyzing diverse volatile molecules with precision.
Key Features of the NeOse™ Device
The demonstration will showcase NeOse’s capabilities, including its fast and sensitive response to various odor sources. Participants will experience the device’s ability to recognize and learn new odors through a streamlined, user-friendly process. As a portable, standalone device, NeOse™ is connected to a universally compatible web application, enabling real-time dynamic sensograms and automatic odor classification.
About Aryballe and Its Vision for Digital Olfaction
Founded in 2014 and based in Grenoble, France, Aryballe has pioneered the development of bio-inspired olfactory technology. This demonstration is set to illustrate how NeOse™ delivers cutting-edge solutions for sectors such as food, cosmetics, and automotive, where it is used for quality control, flavor innovation, and material monitoring.
